How to Reuse a Paint Brush

Jul 30, 2009 09:34 PM

Half the pain of decorating is dealing with the left over mess; the job's done, you just want to bask in the glory, not spend the next half and hour cleaning brushes. Well, with Homeserve's Five-minute fix you don't have to do anymore work at the end of the job, and the brushes will be good as new next time you need them.

Wipe the excess paint off the brushes as soon as you finish painting.

Wrap them in cling film. Make sure it's fully sealed so the air can't get in and harden the paint.

Simply unwrap the brushes and get going the next time you want to decorate. You'll have no hard bristles and no endless rinsing.
